Feeding Guidelines: How much your cat needs to be nourished daily depends on their activity levels and what stage of life they are in. Generally, the more active they are (think adventurous outdoor cats) the more they’ll need to eat. 

Kitten: Post-weaning to 5 months old feed three times as much food as an adult cat of the same weight. Between 5 months to 1-year-old, feed kittens 1.5 to 2 times as much food as an adult cat and start feeding kittens as adults after one year. Moisten food if desired. This is especially true if your cat has been previously fed a high grain, corn, wheat or soy diet. Start by introducing a small amount of Fussie Cat, increasing it daily while decreasing the previous food by the same amount. This will help avoid upset stomachs as it makes it easier for your pet’s digestive system to acclimate.
