Major Giving Initiatives
One Tree Planted
One Tree Planted is a 501C3 non-profit with a focus on global reforestation. As an environmental charity,
they are dedicated to making it easier for individuals and businesses to give back to the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity and help reforestation efforts around the world. All by planting trees!
During the months of April and May, we plant a tree for every online or local delivery order placed with us here. Help us plant some trees and feed your pets at the same time! In 2020 we helped reforest the USA with 2,426 trees by teaming up with @One Tree Planted.
Police K-9 Units
We offer all K-9 police dogs and even Pawcifer Donut (the only police cat we know of) and their handlers with free food, treats, and chiro appointments to keep them healthy and active to do their job keeping us all safe! We love working with units in Hazel Park, Warren, Troy, and other metro Detroit cities. We have supported the PLEA Foundation as well.
We offer a free bag of healthy pet food and a $10 credit towards nutrition consult to pets who’ve been adopted from the following local rescues*:
Friends of Detroit Animal Care & Control (DACC)
Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control is committed to saving animals' lives, ensuring equal access to companion animals for those of all socio-economic levels, and raising the level of care for animals living in the city of Detroit. We work hand in hand with Detroit Animal Care and Control to help the homeless animals at DACC and proactively keep animals out of our shelter in the first place. Learn more about them here.
Ferndale Cat Shelter

Through their foster and adoption processes, they have re-homed over 150 cats and kittens in less than one year of operation. Learn more about Ferndale Cat Shelter here on their website.
