The Pet Beastro loves supporting its local community! We were very excited to put together an auction of local small business items to support PLEA. We raised $2,250 to help purchase some night vision goggles for Southfield and Chesterfield Police K9 Units.

We were very excited to put together an auction of local small business items to support The PLEA Foundation.
We have several customers who own or work at a small business here in Metro Detroit. Since Shop Small Saturday is in November, we thought it would be fun to feature some of these businesses and have a silent auction from their donations to benefit The PLEA Foundation (learn more at https://foundation.plea.net) that helps K9 Officers in Michigan and across the USA. Each week in November, we featured Silent Auction items where folks bid in-store or on that week's Facebook Post for the item in our Facebook Album. We hosted PLEA at the store each Monday at 3:30 pm via a Facebook live video and announced the winners on 12/3 via a Facebook Live. All donations are going towards PLEA to help buy training supplies for local K9 Officers.
We raised $2,250 to help purchase some night vision goggles for Southfield and Chesterfield Police K9 Units.
We received monetary donations for the Giving Tree, purchasing sample packs, donating your reusable bag credits, sharing our Holiday Catalog, bidding on Auction Items, and more.
