The idea for Grizzly Pet Products came about when the owners discovered that many parts of wild-caught salmon were being discarded and going unused after the fish had been processed into filets for human consumption. By developing partnership agreements and working alongside human-grade fish processing plants in Alaska, they were able to use the leftover co-products to extract their salmon oil—using more of the high quality, human-grade fish!
