Responsible Ingredient Sourcing

Petcurean is 100-percent, China-free for processing and ingredient sourcing. None of their meat proteins, grains, cereals, fruits or vegetables in any of their recipes are processed in or sourced from China. Instead, all of the meat proteins, grains, cereals, fruits and vegetables in Petcurean's GO!™ and NOW FRESH™ products are sourced from North America (as close to the production facility as possible) with the exception of their pasture-raised lamb and grass-fed venison, which comes from EU-certified plants in Australia and New Zealand.

Quality Ingredients

Petcurean chooses to partner with a trusted network of local farmers and ranchers who can provide them with the freshest and highest-quality product possible. All of Petcurean's fresh meat and meat meal ingredients are sourced from animals passed fit for human consumption by the CFIA (Canadian Food Inspection Agency). The fruits and vegetables used in their recipes also come from the human food chain.

Petcurean's trusted network of farmers raise their poultry in open barns; the flocks are free roaming and have constant access to food and water. Their poultry is also hormone- and steroid-free. The company ensures that the fish they use in their recipes are tested for heavy metals before accepting them for processing at their plant.

Natural Preservatives

Natural mixed tocopherols are the only preservatives that Petcurean uses. The company is extremely diligent regarding this issue and takes extra steps to ensure all of their suppliers and partners are fully compliant.
